Heinlein is a better author but Asimov and Clarke had much more interesting ideas. So it pretty much depends whether you prefer science or fiction.

Yes but these three guys seem like the shitty type of science fiction for midwits that none of us like. I guess Clark is "Okay" with a space odyssey but it's pretty meh, only original and entertaining for the time.

H. G. Welles and Verne however are forever appreciated science fiction writers.

None of them, scifi is genre fiction, its all fantasy, therefor not relevant. Why would you read a book about a magical sky ship that can travel faster then light, too vists a magic fantasy world using a magical teleportation portal, so you can visit the magic humans that life there and cure their magic virus using magical means? Because that is what scifi mostly is.
