Brave New World seems to attract interpretations that run counter to Huxley's message, iirc he started writing it as a satire and it shows, despite its rebrading as a serious dystopian vision. I also read The Stranger as such, it presents itself as a commentary on absurdity (especially in regards to socially acceptable emotional expression), but it can very easily be read as a satire of a nihilist that fails to realise he's a bit autistic (the ending especially turns it into a comedic satire).
