It is very much like music, at one point Brits were at the top with bands like iron maiden and led zeppelin. Today there is not a single good british band compared what is there in America. There is little talent and creativity in british musical scene, they only rely on their accents to set them apart. Same with literature, except the modern british prose is just awful.
