Is laughing at your own jokes a sign that you're an aristocrat of the soul?

No it's a sign that you make jokes about the things you find funny. That's what most people do by the way so it doesn't mean that you're inferior, even comedians do this, though they restrain themselves fo the flow of the act and hence to imporve the show for their audience. To not laugh at the things you find inherently funny takes some restraint.

I do this constantly even when they don't land or the other person doesn't get it and I don't care

At the ripe age of 30 I've come around to only making jokes that I get the references of to make myself laugh. Fuck everyone else,
