Women are biologically homemakers, educators, and child rearers. Women decided they didn't like this so they utterly annihilated the categories by making it sexist to place any social expectations on women whatsoever. Then they also embraced abortion and birth control to limit the degree they needed to have children, and demanded equal representation in the workplace. They destroyed everything that possibly relates to their biological purpose as women, it should not at all be surprising that they then reject the label of women because now all it means to be a woman, without biological purpose there as well, is that you have holes and a face that's attractive to cum on, which is obviously extremely demeaning and would make anyone feel like shit.

I notice many people who were assigned female at birth become nonbinary, whereas those assigned male at birth became trans female. I'm curious as to why that happens. Former is typical female chaotic personality, they just like putting themselves beyond standards and expectations so they can do things in the most convenient way possible, moment to moment. Why worry about being held to any code of behavior when you can just say the magic words, "I'm nonbinary," and get to be a woman with no expectations placed on her? Severe sexual trauma during early years leads to homosexuality in men and hyper sexuality in women. The first, coupled with autism leads to body dysmorphia in the way of transgender tendencies.
Mind you, the term “transgender” is playing right into whoever is pushing this deviance further, as you cannot switch genders no matter how many pills you take or how many times you go under the knife.

The women I’ve encountered who go by “they” (and it is always women doing this, I’ve never met a non-binary man) insist gender is nothing more than performance, and that historical gender roles only existed as arbitrary categories enforced by oppressive men to keep women out of “power,” aka public life, which was once exclusively the world of males. This creates generations of stronk wumyn who feel intense pressure to be professionals and denigrate motherhood as an act of treason. Hence, women end up intensely unhappy and resentful of men and men start checking out of society to hide from the suffocating feminization and infantilization of culture. The next and current stage demands you insist that sex is actually altogether meaningless and that you reduce gender to fashion and historically stereotypical behaviors. Thus transgenderism, men performing in female sports and the media insisting it’s brave and not at all ridiculous, non-binary people, etc. etc. It’s similar to how nonwhites feel about whites, just replace “resentment” with “humiliation.“

I think you're looking at multiple different groups.
There are many people who transition from female to straightforwardly trans male. They're perhaps somewhat less visible than people who become nonbinary.
Now, claiming a nonbinary identity should be viewed at least partially as a status move. It doesn't matter whether the motivation of the person doing it is cynical or heartfelt, it affects status and that's going to shape the incentives.
Saying you're nonbinary means you present yourself as a minority identity. In SocJus-land, minority identities confer status. Being female is more prestigious than being male, being gay is more prestigious than being straight, and so on.
If you're a member of that world then your monkey brain (if not your conscious mind) is going to perceive it as a way to increase status. The more high-status someone already is, the easier it is to get away with it. Going from male to non-binary is suspicious, perhaps even tacky in a nouveau riche sort of way. Going from female to nonbinary is more acceptable.
So even if equal amounts of people want to go from either gender to non-binary in principle, there are incentives against men and for women and you'll see different amounts in practice.
