It just says Greek, and the unmodified form of a language is assumed to be modern, if someone says they're learning English you don't expect them to be able to read "We Gardena in geardagum, þeodcyninga, þrym gefrunon, hu ða æþelingas ellen fremedon." You expect them to be able to read Modern English. Just as if someone says they're learning French, they'd be able to read Exupery, not Marie de France.
