fitzgerald (best poet in his own right, makes for the best read although he's slightly more free with translation than more literalist translators)

P&V for C&P corresponds best to the russian overall, not much reason to prefer garnett unless you specifically like her, oliver ready modernizes too much

grossman (does some violence to the text but is extremely easy and pleasant to read, ignore the long-ass bloom foreword, look up lathrop's review essay if you still have doubts about her)

unquestionably the cambridge/guyer edition unless you have a very specific historical reason for reading either kemp smith or max muller perhaps
