>people whoring their own writing
>almost no actual discussion about books

Hey M00T, come on over and delete /lit/, this board is not fulfilling its purpose.

i had a thread where we posted books with a certain theme in them. anon said it was shit and that i should delete it though so i did.

im sorry i have no ideas. i dont think a particular book would be a good thread unless enough people had read it.

op is probably just a hypocritical anon that blames his own lack of creativity on tripfags though.

bump for m00t

That's because people don't actually read books on /lit/. Even well recommended classics lack the ability to fill a thread, because hey, no one has read them.

Upon my last refresh, 5 of the 9 threads were about books or writers. Contrary to popular belief, /lit/ does talk about literature. But If you still don't like it, leave. Threads like this don't help.

Everyone who posts below this without a sage is a faggot.
/thread.

>refresh front page
>see english major useless thread
>see tripfag thread
>see tv show recommendation thread
>see a movies thread
>see a personal signs thread
>see one book thread being trolled because no one has read the book
>see two recommendation threads
Ah yeah, I forgot about recommendation threads. The only book threads to be somewhat about /lit/, only because people try to list as many classics they can without actually discussing the content.

YO M00T COME ON OVER AND DELETE

>> No.1591009

All the real literature talk is on /book/, which further supports that /lit/ should be deleted.
