this book actually was bestowed to me by a flying elephant that met me in the football match between arabian princes and aboriginal kings while listening to the japanese orchestra of monkeys that played their national anthems and told me its grand dad used to read it to his adoptive human girl that grew up to be a belly dancer in the Ottoman Empire during the time where the 30-year-war was in its peak and it was actually bestowed to him by a russian monk in hiding from Mongolian raiders.

This is nowhere near the book's prose. It's not lolsorandumb bs, even in its most fantastical passages.

go read the beauty contest passage again (when fernanda first appears) and go tell me if it wasn't random

Not accuarte. This reminds me to a short story written by Dickens called something like "The Ghost in Lord B's Room". I remember it being like a fever dream, with ghosts (obviously), astral travels through space and time, and arabian princes and concubines. I also remember not linking it because how disconnected the events of the story seemed one from another.

it's not at all like this. imagine the kind of bland fiction you're used to reading that this book seems "exaggerated and random".
