Not even the bible has impacted my life as much as this book has. Women will never understand it and i don't know if that is a good thing or not.

Chuck Palahniuk was so close with this book. It was a good modern novel but it was obsessed with the modern cultural drivel rather then ascending to the ascetic. Tyler durden should’ve been the American Quixote, Christ, and ahab. This was chucks best novel solely for the exuberance of Tyler durden and the underlining spirit of the will to power chuck himself couldn’t control it and it shows. The film actually conveys the theme better. Fight club had a spark of greatness but no more then that you can see in his other novels he is a pseud materialist
