Literally all cope, trying as hard as possible to not include rap as a form of poetry. It doesn't matter if you fucking like it or not, difficult rap is still poetry (i.e Big Pun, many of Eminem's songs, etc.). The only argument against rap being poetry is that there's a certain "beauty" to poetry that rap doesn't have, but at that point you're no longer arguing logically or in good faith, unless taking the romantic approach.

It's trash, and it should be treated like so. Also, it's quite stupid to consider an American musical style that got popular around the world the only representative of black culture, because it isn't. If you are actually interested in "black culture", as in culture produced by blacks, I'd recommend Cruz e Souza for poetry and Machado de Assis for prose. Maybe if you're more interested in "African culture" in general, Mayombe is a great novel, though written by a white. Finally:

I know, I know. This meme is what is used to excuse the negro's lack of intelligence. But there's a significant difference between:
>a Salvadorean who's been living in what amounts to a 16th-century existence with a severe lack of basic faculties and education
and:
>a negro who has lived in the most prosperous nation for hundreds of years
Also the fact that even high-income blacks have lower iqs but hispanics do not (to varying degrees.) It's completely reasonable to expect their iq scores to become normalized within a few more generations, like the native americans who assimilated centuries ago.
