This is bad, OP. I don't think in terms of any language and it fucked me hard throughout life. I had to gave up on a lot of stuff because of it. Think of achieving mastery over language itself through the use of it on your own thought process, in order to improve your own power of expression through the language. Does this make any sense?

I can switch between thinking in language and without language. It's essentially a balance between focus/breath. When I think nonverbally I am more creative, am able to synthesize more concept but the ideas in my mind are not at all precise. When the rough outline of what I want to think about is discovered nonverbally, I switch to verbal mode to flesh it out and formalize the idea so it actually makes sense.
This happens all the time for me when, for example, trying to come up with mathematical proofs.
