How does determinism explain the illusion of choice, how's everything still and yet it moves

But ultimately it was free will that made me act in the end.

Free will and determinism aren't just compatible, one needs the other. The only way to be sure you make your own decisions through your will alone is that the world is deterministic. A decision, after all, is the function of your desires as an individual and the information available. If I could give two copies of you right now the same information in two different timelines and they made two different decisions, that would surely indicate that the decision came from something other than you.

There is no motion in a determinist universe, thus there is no cause and effect to be determined, thus determinism doesn't exist.
Why? No object is an objective category, only a free subject have presentations, otherwise these are illusions like the intuition that you have free will.
Since we've all read Plato's Sophist this is all obviously self-evident, and we're just bantering, haha!

Categories and presentations are made up.

Yes, thus there is no cause and effect within the material universe. Being an object is not the essence of any phenomenon that presentation experiences. Of course determinism refutes itself and leads directly to true monism where no determination or presentation can occur.

If there is a soul(self, I, whatever), then it's input is qualia and its output is free will. If there is no soul, then no free will exists, but also no one exists to lack that free will.
