Dear /lit/,
Because there is no politics board, I come to you for help with an essay about the industrial-age education system and how/why it should be changed to help further the advancement of societies that are past that age

Broads are flighty and need more than they give.

Guys need less but have trouble providing if you don't keep them interested. They also have the nasty habit if smacking you up.

>How to improve school system
Stop trying to profit off it?

Someone the other day was saying school's need shit like big fancy libraries to attract students, even if they're full of crap, and I've been thinking a bit about that. If schools need to attract lots of kids then they don't care about anything but looking cool and reputation. I suppose they work on keeping job placement up, but that's about all that's useful.

Also, getting a English / Art / Philosophy / etc degree is pretty ridiculous in this day and age. The access to learning materials is higher than ever (internet), books are cheaper than ever (get exactly the book you need off Amazon, used, for 1/10 the price), and I can't think of a third point. Basically, you can make your own education these days, so if you want to learn you just learn. Sometimes, I just wish there was some certification test I could take that would say, "You've read a shit ton, you can write, you have the GED version of an English degree."
