Question for African Americans, why doesn't majority of the black community protest in the streets against the bigger plague which is black on black murder?

It's because we like to blame everything on the system. I recognize that systemic oppression against us exist but we also bring the demise upon ourselves. We can march in the streets for dude who got killed by the police but we can't march for 10 black men that got killed in Chicago in a day. Doesn't make sense to me. Hood dudes are to quick to kill people as well how the fuck you gonna kill dude for fucking your girl and then march on the streets talking about black lives matter.

>live in a house of domestic violence, tension, or volatility
>frequent fights between members of family, escalations into physical violence
>siblings will often get in serious fistfights, hurt each other, or beat each other up,
>one day a man from the local government who you pay with your tax dollars comes to your house and beats the shit out of you your whole family
>you press charges
>judge says "Well if you care so much, why didn't you press charges against your own children? Why are you only taking it up with the state when the state commits violence against you, hmmmmmm????"

analogy isn't airtight but it's fucking astounding that someone could fail to understand that protests are a way to exert passive or active pressure against state sytems and exhaust state resources, and are completely useless when the state isn't directly responsible for the grievance which one is seeking to correct.

People do, it does not get media attention. In addition systematic racism has contributed greatly to communities being drug ridden and violent.

You're not one to deem that protests are exclusively in response to the system. I have no problem with the black lives matter movement but it isn't black lives matter when dude gets shot by another black for 50 dollars? You can't blame the fucking system for having black people shoot each other in the hood.

If the protests aren't exclusively in respone to the system, then they must be in response to both the system as well as issues existing within the community.
>why doesn't majority of the black community protest in the streets against the bigger plague which is black on black murder?
Apparently you think they do?
You're not making any sense.

I'm saying you can protest against community conflicts as well as systemic oppression but majority of African americans only focus on one when the other is much worse.

It doesn't. You are treated preferentially in most social institutions and have been for our entire lives even if you're 50 years old.

This. If they had fathers to teach them how to read then maybe slinging crack banging drums and throwing balls wouldn't be all they were good for
