I had seen it appear on this board before which got me interested. My only impression of the book came from the cover which I presume contains concepts similar to Baudrillard's, I know little about it other than the author off'ed himself, can anybody fill me up on the book as some kind of appetizer? :^l

I also want to read the book but Amazon doesn't have copies with that cover and the copies seem to be different translations, can anyone who knows better tell me what translation to get, if it matters?

just read dialectic of enlightenment, adorno has a deeper understanding of how/why kulturindustrie and class antagonism functions, debord has a fairly simple class war paradigm although he does spend more time detailing how the spectacle functions
