Why is your copy of the Odyssey colored differently from other penguin deluxe editions?

I've already post it a few days ago but OK, here we go:

* The Ego and Its Own by Stirner
* Speedboat by Renata Adler
* Treatise on sacrifices by Joseph de Maistre
* Ramayana by Valmiki
* Eileen by Ottesa Moshfegh

Except for the last one all of them are in Spanish.

Actually I'm in the states but for some reason Penguin doesn't carry Yeats stuff anymore so I had to order it from some dipshit in Bongland who didn't give the tracking number.

The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini in the Italian.

I haven't ever taken an Italian class but I speak Spanish so I'm gonna try diving into this with a dictionary in my hand. Wish me luck :).

If it's in modern Italian you can probably do it. I'm actually teaching myself French like this. I'm a Portuguese native speaker going through some books with a dictionary and pen in hand. Got through L'Etranger and Huis Clos, doing La Peste right now. I honestly think you can learn all Latin languages like this if you're fluent in one to begin with. Spanish is ezpz aside from a few false friends (got Borges' Cuentos Completos just so I can exercise my Spanish), anyway.

My goal is tackling Italian, too, once I'm comfortable reading French. I'm thinking Calvino and Eco for the first works.

Absolutely doable. I'm italian and I've been reading Paradiso without having ever taken a Spanish course. Slap that shit on a kindle and use it to translate whatever you don't understand.
