That’s how race science has been used in practice, it was always bound up with social policy. For example The Bell Curve and Charles Murray’s work more generally was influential on the debates around Open-windows policing and it’s subsequent widespread implementation. This is the very aggressive approach to petty criminal infractions like passing a fake $20 or selling loose cigarettes.
