Recommend books that give you an interesting and captivating introduction into a field, Like Psychology 101, Design 101, physics 101, biology 101,econ,etc.
Bonus points if they awoke inside of you a deep passion for a field of study.

The Case of the Speluncean Explorers: Nine New Opinions by Peter Suber. Very short but extremely interesting introduction to Philosophy of Law and I think law itself. Not sure, I'm a layman, my brother-in-law recommended it to me and I really liked it. Honestly, made me want to read Kant, and I'm a "math person", so that is quite a feat.

The 101 and the 999, really the only textbook you will ever need on the subject, you can just start reading papers afterwards.
