> "doomer literature"
Bitter incel trying to deal with a oneitis
> philosophy
Incel trying to make up for his failure by saying it was something about the "categorical imperative" not to pursue her
> Post-Modern literature
A woman made him feel dumb so he needs to try and prove it to himself that he is smarter than her.
> history / racist/ pagan larp literature
A woman made him feel like he didn't belong in the current social group so he has try and relate to imaginary / historical social groups that no longer exist just to spite her.
> commie / leftist literature
too timid to pursue women but needs to try and justify it by saying how its for "equality" or "womens liberation."
> Nietzschean literature
a woman made him feel powerless so he now bases his entire thought on trying to gain back this power and proving her wrong (doesn't actually do anything with such power)
> obscure religious literature / occultism
Woman made him feel too normal / not smart enough, so he needs to find bizzare ways to prove himself as being "elevated" or "enlightened" above her in some way.

At the end of the day all literature is just larping. No one is willing to die for any of these ideologies, never mind dedicate their lives to them. They just want them as fancy personality additions and something to feel better about themselves.

Relatively normal, but a taste for the antiquated and that which is perceived to be classic probably means you fall into the category of "trying to show you are smart / using intelligence to make up for some sort of personality flaw."

lol most people who like one of these like the others. its better to argue that asd/schizo people who feel detatched from society are more likely to read literature, especially less popular stuff. if they got fulfilment out of normie life (which they dont due to a lack of both ability and interest) they wouldnt be shitposting about degenerate racist druggie bloggers in china

I also read plenty of fairly obscure older lit and contemporary poetry that nobody really gives a shit about, so it's not like I can really show that supposed intelligence to anyone.

You show it to yourself. That is the only thing that matters. When a psued reads, he does it to try and prove his ego that he is better than the "dumb girl that doesn't want him"

That fits into the historical / racist / pagan larp category.

Rejected by social structures of the modern age so the reader looks to past ages to try and give him closure. "If only I had lived then, then I would fit in." He will not admit this to himself, but he feels alienated from modern social structures and uses this as a cope. Have you ever met a well adjusted man at a renaissance fair?

Anyone who hems their taste in literature into a word like "doomer" is already an irredeemable fucking faggot and should be seriously rethinking what they get out of reading. That being said, your reduction of everything to someone's relation with women is retarded, and the same nonsense that clutters half the catalog of this board, and only bolsters the fact that most of the dumbasses here don't read and don't give a shit about literature.

This doesn’t apply as I’m a Gypsy, we practice arranged marriage. I’ve personality had my taste in literature since I was a child.

I think people over value relationships and companionship in general and the influence of the female, I think I see this much more clearly as I’ve never had to attempt to gain a female.
