I still have some copies out.

Wendig is a fucking tool and deserves his eventual drawing and quartering by an angry mob.

Payment and reserved copyright are at bottom the ruin of literature. Only he who writes entirely for the sake of what he has to say writes anything worth writing. It is as if there were a curse on money: every writer writes badly as soon as he starts writing for gain.

Once more, privileged whites destroy public utilities of the underclass while cheering them on.

Internet archive is a haven of piracy and I'm surprised nobody took note until now

>> No.15590486

wait what is his association to this?

>> No.15590518

Internet Archive was a way for people in countries with very regressive censorship laws to gain access to literature, fuck Chuck Wendig.

Can someone give details? Are public domain books gone? Are the books that you can borrow gone?

Good, people who can't afford to purchase literature don't deserve to read it. Their time is better spent doing manual labor and not filling their heads with the distractions of literary works their underclass brains will never be able to comprehend.

>every writer writes badly as soon as he starts writing for gain.

>> No.15590651

Why don't copyright bootlickers get this bent out of shape over used books? Judging by their arguments it's the same thing, the reader is getting a book without giving any money to the author or publisher. Sure, somebody originally bought the book new before it was resold, but the same goes for books that are scanned and put online.
Real sick of people who keep trying to push these "ooh internet so scary" narratives.

It doesn't seem like any of these tweets have anything to do with the actual article.

pretty sad what happened, i'm sure you can pirate the majority of books online but some of the obscure out of print books are real hard to find

he was a writer of some prominence in the sci-fi world when he got the star wars contract
however, he's a raging sjw
he went on an insane twitter tirade against the fans and conservatives, and was fired
now he's just a sad bastard
