Good writer until menopause. The Earthsea trilogy was great, almost mythic...but that sequel was just a shrill, chiding lecture on how men are intrinsically evil. I couldn't finish it.

All I know of her is that she wrote an introduction to Murray Bookchins essay collection which, naturally, I skipped.

Earthsea may be one of the best fantasy series ever written, never read any of the sci-fi stuff, but i heard it's good

No idea. I don’t read women.

Which is the sequel that I should be wary of? I've got an omnibus edition that I haven't started reading yet

Very comfy fantasy books but not to be taken too seriously. The Dispossessed is a good book that is rarely talked about as well.
