ADEH is a great channel that covers many interesting topics and I don't mind the pipe smoking and the quirky scholar affectations. What's frustrating about them is they aren't as concise as they should be for a 30 minute long video. Too many reduntant speech formulas that would be acceptable for a seminar or a 3 hour class, but not for a 30' video.

Philosophy Tube is essentially a less talented of ContraPoints who in my experience routinely argues in bad faith. ContraPoints is a smart guy who has fallen into a retarded lifestyle and its associated retarded crowd of people, and some of the videos actually include interesting psychological insights into online communities, although he sometimes twists his overall take into a-little-too-tidy conformity with some "message" so it's digestible by his normie twitter girl audience of fag hags who ideologically slum by pretending to care about freaks on the internet.

PhilosophyTube knows nothing about philosophy. He's a complete dilettante. He's also a midwit (hate this term but it fits) compared to ContraPoints and like the above dude said, he argues in bad faith. He is solely interested in conformity with a "message" and he's smug about it to boot, which is more offensive because the insights aren't there. At least when ContraPoints tries to sell you the warmed-over neoliberal yuppie message of "what if the revolution was really the negative liberty to mutilate your dick if you want to that we tolerated along the way?" he includes those little perspicacious asides that imply he's actually thinking and actually invested.

Off the record, PhilosophyTube seems like one of those guys who is later outed as having groomed and/or raped his fans. Any male SJW that self-important and willing to accept the ball-lapping of his fanbase sets off alarm bells for me.
