I gotta be honest desu. I built a library of 200+ books of classical literature over two years of working manual labour. Had great ambitions of understanding poetry, philosophy and theology. Got drunk instead and watched UFC press conferences on my mattress. I daily felt that menacing shelf staring at me with a thousand eyes. It seemed so overwhelming, like a labyrinth without a thread.

I've thrown a great deal of them out. Too much learning makes for an idiot. Many of them didn't actually interest me personally, but were more like feathers on a peacock.

I'm down to about 80 books that I'm legitimately excited to read. Taking my time, see where it goes. Pic related is my next reading.
