It's clearly not as simple as making a very popular book, documentary, hashtag or even an entire movement, since many of them die within a few months or years if they are lucky. Are the masses just moving on their own? Is there nothing we can do to change the societal trajectory?

I haven't read Evola but it seems to me you should study marketing. The way I see it there is no other discipline more effective at changing the world - because marketing gets people to open their wallets for things they didn't know they wanted and that they certainly don't need.
Outside of certain terrorist groups or suicide cults that get people to die for their causes, I can't think of many more consistently effective forms of mass-social manipulation.

If you conceive a "reality", that consists of both truth and fiction, and it it's being believed, then you'll have conceived a virus that is devastating to post-modernity. Like Evola and other authors argue, you should disregard the Jewish scapegoat narrative. The authors of protocols did probably employ antisemitism, but it still doesn't change the fact that the book literally describes total control and subjugation of any human population. Cultural, media, wars, societal, economical etc.
