Anglo-American aristocrats are irrelevant anyway. I remember reading an account of how in Boston in the 19th Century they used to sit in "gentlemen's clubs" (basically rich old boy's clubs) and make fun of the Irish - as they gradually took over the city through machine politics. Useless bunch by any objective assessment.
