Reading his book (This Life) made me sad. It was so pop, and he so clearly did not understand what he was talking about. In his chapter on economics, he literally said Hayek was neoclassical and thought that marginal utility (you know, the microeconomic principle that says price is based on the cost of the last created product in the case of perfect competition) was supply and demand.
