The Qu'ran contradicts the bible. For hundreds of years Muslims didn't realize this but now they have to pretend the bible was corrupted even though the Qu'ran authenticated them. For them the Qu'ran is true because the Qu'ran says it's true, so everything that contradicts it is obviously wrong. This justification is circular but they don't care and to be fair, most protestant Christians have the same problem. For them the bible is true because it says it's true. I actually have more respect for Mormons than I do a Baptist or Calvinist for this reason.
