/lit/, what the fuck is wrong with you guys? The only quality original (assuming these were written for /lit/) poems on this board are about rusty trombones, dog fucking, and sodomy. For some reason the people who have real talent come to this board to post the disturbing, disgusting things they can't publish in the real world under their real names. The no-talent assclowns come here to post their very earnest but very bad poetry scribbled on the margins of their high school textbooks.

Talented people: please post your best work here. We could use all the good original writing you're willing to offer. If you want to continue with the porno stuff, that's ok. But just know that we would be so happy to read your non-porno works as well.

/lit/'s incapable of criticism when an original work is good - if there isn't something obvious to tear apart they can't pull the trigger. /lit/ is also mesmerized by dick jokes. The poems in this thread are funny and well written, no doubt about it. However, high quality and high brow writing like this doesn't get praise or punishment here. If these were cheap "Man from Nantucket" limericks or haikus that end with the word "nigger" it would probably have tons of responses. If it were a sequel to The Penis Was this thread would be 170 posts hidden, 58 image replies.

Intellectuality with a fun, dirty spin is confusing to the cretinous monsters that make up the majority of /lit/'s posters. Talented writers do come here occasionally but they only use this board as an outlet, like you said. There is simply no way someone with talent would post real work for the fools that post here.
