I do the same thing with Greek plays.
When I read the Oresteia trilogy by Aeschylus, I added to my list of books read the penguin book which contained all three plays, and added the plays individually.
I did the same when I read the necronomicon. 25% of my read books list on Goodreads is comprised of HP Lovecraft short stories.
