After I started reading about accelerationism Ive began feeling weird, yesterday I saw that last Elon Musk interview with Joe Rogan and they are all talking about accelerationism and a certain "virus in form of idea". I have just woke up to a weird nightmare about this.

Are we getting closer?

>Virus in Form of idea
We already have one in the transgender explosion of the second half of the 2010s, and it spreads online but can only infect people with compromised mental immune systems

QUESTION:
How acceleracionist thinkers will be regarded in the future. That is, after the world has "accelerated" itself.
Will it be like the time traveler paradox? (i.e Marx, that predicted communism but that didn't end up sticking because he made his prediction public).
Am i wrong here? if it doesn't sound too stupid please consider responding.

it's like that but not like that

accelerationists will eventually be forced to immanentize the eschaton like marxists, when they realize the final transformation continuously seems to come closer but never truly happens. it's like limits in mathematics. or like Achilles and the tortoise.

>virus in the form of an idea
That's literally a meme. The definition of a meme was originally a self replicating idea.
How far we have fallen.

Something has shifted in reality. The outside has been trying to get inside with a profound gravity lately.

rapid cultural deterioration. I see it too, everywhere.

Is it the encroaching active presence of AI apprehending the world through memes? I believe so.
