Recommend something good to read, last 5 books were a bust. I did not enjoy them.

American Gods - Neil Gayman
Starship Troopers - Robert Heinlen

If you want something mainstream but still solid enough to be literary, I enjoyed Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. It almost 1000 pages and you can lose yourself in it.
