Aren’t his criticisms of the US moral by nature? I’m no Chomskyite but I’ve read some of his work and saw his documentary on manufactured consent. The idea (at least what I took from it) was that public deception, manufactured consent and oligarchic control subverts the will of the people and are therefore morally reprehensible.
