alright, I've realised that the more I read books like Joyce's A Portrait of the Artist, Stendhal's The Red and the Black and Gibbon's Decline and Fall, the more and more I've started start to genuinely dislike Christianity, the Church and the sorts of people in it. However I've also become way more interested in reading the Bible and seeing what it's all about for myself. Anyone else feel like this?

I just hate christianity because the church gave my ex-friend a free scholarship.

There's a difference between critique of the church and critique of the theology.

Stendahl is just edgy proto-Nietzsche.
