I don't know what to believe bros. There's just way too much stuff for me to read with regard to religion and all. A sign from above won't be coming anytime soon, so I'm forced to learn multiple languages and wade through hundreds of ancient texts just to form a correct belief on some silly dogma and thus not end up in Hell. Can I be content with only deism?

Simply live the Christian faith on a trial basis, pray, attend service, strive to live by the Sermon on the Mount. You will either find the truth, or check a possibility off your list. So on and so forth.

Know one thing, all of them demand blind faith and not even a mere shroud of doubt on your mind for you to be saved, is literally impossible for most people

What is the correct interpretation of the bible? Do you need to belong to a Christian sect in order to understand the Christian truth?

Are there any good books on virtue that I could read? I tried reading the part on virtues in the Summa of Thomas, but I found that it bears very little relevance to how I should conduct myself in day-to-day life.

Tbh the Stoics are great for virtue ethics, but you should move past them. They're ultimately too life denying
