A common, and valid I would say, critique of the transgender phenomenon is the problem of "knowing" what it feels like to be a man, woman, or neither (as some claim to be), and how you gain said knowledge. I was curious though what other, maybe even better, critiques were out there that /lit/ has heard or thought of themselves. I'm mainly interested in epistemological critiques, but other sorts are fine too.

Men are men.
Women are women.
Some societies have a third category, but none confuse men with women.

>Men are men.
>Women are women.
Those are more declarations than critiques.

>Some societies have a third category, but none confuse men with women.
That could simply be reduced to cultural relativism though.
