I'm new to lit, but I understand there is a regular argument over Ayn Rand that occurs on the board. I have yet to see it myself, but any philosopher knows that if you map out Ayn Rand's argument it isn't complete as a philosophical assertion.

I might not even disagree with him, I plainly stated I don't particularly enjoy Rand or her ideas. What I said was that if you don't have any rationale for disliking Rand, you shouldn't go around spouting off this vitriolic speech just because it's trendy to hate her. I'm the guy from >>1532888 and >>1532880, and there is a definition for not complete. It's called cogency. Look it up. Ayn Rand's argument, when you map it out, lacks the necessary steps to qualify as a cogent argument.

I stated that Ayn Rand's argument doesn't qualify as a complete argument in my first post, which was part of the reason I don't like her writings. This was followed up by some fag saying to stop jumping on the bandwagon and give a reason... which I already had.
