Sorry but can you explain how HxH and Chainsaw Man are more seinen than AOT and Berserk? I've read all avaliable CSM, AOT and Berserk chapters, and watched HxH (2011), and although early AOT is undoubtedly shounen, the last two arcs are far too mature to be called shounen, and I'd be very interested to hear what you think makes HxH and Chainsaw Man more suitable for an adult audience than Berserk? Or am I just taking the bait for classic 4chan contrarianism.

Berserk had one decent arc and everything arfterwards as exposed Miura for the hack he is, the series had immense potential to be good.
Berserk has so much gore and rape that it comes off as childish and that exactly what it does it attracts a crowd that likes shit Game of Thrones, because they think vulgar shit like is revolutionary and the coolest shit but the truth when you take all those teenage attracting plot device the series comes up as shallow.
Generic villains that are another le religion is bad and nobles are corrupt lol and plot that sounds a generic fantasy rpg.

Now i tell you that should have read the manga of HxH instead of the anime, the anime is toned down and edited towards a more kids audience.

So what makes HxH a more interesting series in my opinion?

i love berserk and i love lord of the rings, but the lord of the rings books (but not the movies) really stick the ending and you get the feeling of a complete wonderful story told from beginning to end that's rich and full and works and is well paced whilst taking its time
berserk is completely chaotic and starts out as grimdark edgy concepts that the guy creates stories for as it goes along and the longer it goes the more the tonal dissonance shows. the golden age is rightly held up as the best sequence because it's such a great compelling story well told with good characters and an involving universe, and from then on there are lots of good bits but everything is such a fucking mess and by now it feels like a jrpg party doing a stupid quest and there's a loli witch and two annoying comic reliefs and honestly it would have been better to just have been cancelled by this point

Depends on what you expect, the current arc in the manga is mostly 100% talking except for what in my opinion is the best fight in the series (Chrollo vs Hisoka), it introduces various new characters and focus on Kurapika working in the middle of political conflict between princes, it's not for everyone really.
