That's a comical overstatement, but Schoppy does not excel in any rigorous discipline of philosophy.
He is an entertaining read and offers some good psychological insights, but you can ignore anything related to his non-logic, his absurd theory of knowledge, the bizarro metaphysics and ridiculous historical theories.
He's the kind of writer that shines in what he would have considered his minor works. World as Will and Representation is a 2/10, nice effort. The Aphorisms are a must read.
