in the madness letters he calls himself indifferently "dyonisus" and "the crucifixed". which, together with his pathetic prophetic style , gives you a hint on how much this crypto-christian faggot was larping all along.

His chief Dionysian pleasure was fruit, which he gave himself incurable and life-altering ulcers with.

Nietzsche did a ton of opium and attributed some of his insights to it:

>Consider me, the two of you, as a semilunatic with a sore head who has been totally bewildered by long solitude. To this, I think, sensible insight into the state of things I have come after taking a huge dose of opium – in desperation. But instead of losing my reason as a result, I seem at last to have come to reason.

(letter to Lou Salome and Paul Ree)

He also used as a sleep aid a sedative called chloral hydrate that can cause hallucinations:

>I realized that in the last two months I have consumed 50 grams of chloral hydrate (pure). I never slept without this drug! But I have slept, now, after fourteen days in a row – oh what bliss!

(letter to Franz Overbeck)

Dionysus was also the god of rejuvenation/immortality and the common people's god. Theaters were dedicated to him. Human melancholy was his, too. Dionysus wasn't just the part god.

Consider that he didn't believe himself to be the Ubermensch, but believed he was showing a path to the Ubermensch.

A god is a construct which asks certain things of people. Christianity asks its worshippers to deny life and remain pious and weak (slave morality). Nietzsche asks the same things that we imagine Dionysus might ask of his worshippers: to affirm life with joy, struggle, and art. Hence Dionysus Against The Crucified.

It's really simple if you stop for literally half a second and use your brain cells for anything other than another opportunity to shitpost about a philosopher you've never read.

Is that what Dionysus would ask for?
