>200 pages of farming.
Were people so bored in the 1800s that this shit was seen as entertaining?

Of course, an industrial bugman can't appreciate pastoral beauty.

I put off reading Anna Karenina for a long time because I was reluctant to read a book about a woman. I’m glad I finally read it though. The parts about Levin hunting with his dog or even just mowing grain on his farm were so damn comfy. Plus Vronsky was alpha as fuck - racing horses, plowing and impregnating married sloots and finally going off to Serbia to remove kebab or die trying.
Ultimately, I was glad I read it. I just skipped over the parts that were predominantly about non males.

The farming parts were literally the only good parts

Why does farming filter so many people? Same thing with Vinland Saga's farm arc.
