You can't claim to be an atheist and at the same time believe in love between humans. Love is an entirely religious concept. Unlike other human emotions, like anger, jealousy, fear, sadness, passion etc love cannot be described in a satisfactory manner. Normal emotions are also characterized by duration, starting and ending points. Angry people can with some precision tell you why they're angry, at who, when it started, and when it's over. Yet nobody can explain the state difference between loving your mother and not loving her, most people would claim that they simply do. Thus the idea of love is rooted in belief in a higher human connection, not unlike the connection between mankind and God.

This is a linguistic issue. Greeks had different names for different kinds of love. The limitations of the English language, or imprecise definitions, don't prove God.
