This was the entrance exam for Harvard 150 years ago. Anybody who wanted to get in had to pass this.

You'd pass it, right, anon?

Just a friendly reminder that passing entrance exams or getting a high enough SAT/ACT score in contemporary times is solely used for gatekeeping from poorfags.

If you were born into an influential family, you could score horribly and still get in no problem. F. Scott Fitzgerald literally got into Princeton Uni because he begged the then President of Princeton University, Woodrow Wilson to let him in since it was his birthday and Wilson accepted.

Only the geography questions. It would be easier if I was taught Greek. I only know the alphabet.

I highly recommend Sporcle's geography quizzes. t. not on the take from them but they're quite good.

Also draw your own maps/pictures even if they suck. When I set myself the task of learning Russia's oblasts, I sub-tasked myself to draw/trace a detailed map and write down every single thing. I had it down in like a week or a bit more. I could do pic related cold and get at least 2/3rds and easily bone back up to 100% with a little practice.

It's also really good to read about geographic regions you don't have personal experience with to get a sense of what's where and to connect the place name words to other things you've learned. Following the world news is unironically great for this, and as it happens there's an awful thing going on right now which affects everything which will give you a good excuse to learn various world place names.

Here's a really simple example: A small meme country to the right of Italy: Slovenia. Does anyone know much of anything about it? No, not really. But wait, there's a /lit/ related thing: Slavov Zizek is from there. From now on, if you know Zizek, you know of Slovenia: "Oh that's the Zizek country". A way to remember, connecting it with something else you're aware of.

I would ace the geography but would absolutely fail the trigonometry and logarithms. I cheated on most of my math tests through high school and still only passed them with a C or a D. I just can't wrap my head around some of those subjects.

Thanks anon. I already do Sporcle quizzes. I was hoping to more find a book that mentions the geography essentials of countries or cities in the world that isn't just Wikipedia. Like a book that I could sit down and read, you know?

Math is easy. History and Geography I probably wouldn't pass, but it's just that I've studied other aspects of it. Haven't studied Latin and Greek, but know 4 languages.
