Avoid most "self help" books, which are written with the primary goal of profiting from suckers like you. Something a bit more rigorous like this may be of help to you:

At the end of the day what you need to do is critically introspect and figure out why you're procrastinating. A book on CBT may be helpful for this as well.

But it's probably going to be some combination of the following:

- ADHD, treatable with meds
- What you're attempting to force yourself to do, while it might benefit you, isn't really what you want to do.
- You have imbalances in other aspects of your life that need to be addressed

Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill. Most amazing thing you're likely to read, no idea why it isn't talked about more.

The Power of Habit

>> No.15213679

No. No self help books. They won’t help. They’re just pep talk from people who don’t care about you. People who just want your money. Find something you like to do and read about it. Isolate yourself from the outside world for one hour a day. Maybe just 20 minutes. Just do it every day no matter how long. Goodbye OP good luck

If you download them and don't actually pay for them, self-help book are ok. Go with the classics as Think and Grow Rich or How to Win Friends and Influence People.
If you really think about buying some books, you are better off buying some good fiction and philosophy, instead of self-help.
