And God breaking a covenant he declared is eternal is nonsensical. Even if it was superseded, "opened up" to gentiles via baptism, then it wouldn't break the old rules of the covenant.

Yes. She is begging for her daughter to be cured. It is not begging for money or food, but it is begging. And someone who wishes for something from someone so deeply would naturally become subservient to that person, like a dog to a master. Exempli gratia, if I beg you for drugs, and you're the only one who can fulfill my desire to get high, you can essentially do what you want to me.

But this is an inference on your part. As I pointed out, Jesus calling her a dog could very well have been simply because she was begging him. If it was a reference to her ethnicity, he says

Suggesting that her humility (instead of being reproachful that she be called a dog, instead recognizing the situation she's in, and giving up even her self-respect for her daughter's sake) and faith were what caused Jesus to heal her daughter, not her bowing to the "master-race".
