Because reality is not fully understood, common sense is common fallacy.

Were fate written in the stars, there would be no stars.

A universe with a God would be in no substantial way different to one with a God.

I observe, therefore I think.

We only know that observer and observed exist. Whether or not they are interchangeable is a matter of opinion.

I am polite to a fault; it often leads people to perceive me as rude.

The organ of sight cannot directly perceive itself. The organ of thought can only perceive itself.
