Are there any writers/philosophers/artists that you would consider yourself an expert in?

Yes, I am an expert on the life and works of Christian Weston Chandler and I expect to complete the first volume of my biography of him by this Winter.

Nah, only enough in all of them to say that I'm comfortable to discuss and contribute, but not enough to debate and assert

Samuel Beckett, I wrote my thesis on him. I was completely obsessed with him for a very long time and I still haven't fully recovered

Which one would sound the most impressive to be an expert in? Asking the real questions here.

The most impressive to me personally would be Christopher Marlowe. Not because he is difficult or obscure but simply because it makes me think "wow, this person probably has something interesting to say about literature".
The most impressive in pseud terms? Perhaps Kant, if we take expert in the highest regard. Also, Wagner, whose idea of Gesamtkunstwerk in relation to other arts is one of the most neglected in modern art.

why is Kant pseud?
