I recently got a cool one about him. Built of Books: How Reading Defined the Life of Oscar Wilde. Interesting stuff. But don't confine yourself to just his early, happy-go-lucky self. Read De Profundis or some of his essays on art. He is more than just fabulous and fatuous plays.

Dorian Gray was his only novel. He did write some very good short stories and poems.

watch the plays..don't read them.

Only read his essays if you like that type of material..although most people recommend 'de profundis' ( his time spent in jail) I would reccommend the mystery of willie hughes ( its his explaination on the person whom shakespeare dedicated his sonnets).

I've read everything..and I mean everything.. this man has ever written.
