>The clear pill does say you’re in a dome. It says nothing about the real world outside that dome, only that you know nothing about that world—just some facts. It does not even challenge any of those facts. It is made from pure philosophy and contains no jet fuel or steel beams.

Was it satire?

Everytime. His style can be a bit cringey and unfocused at times, but he will unironically go down as an important political thinker. Strange times we're living in when a bored blogger turns out to be one of the more piercing observers of post-modern politics.

well there had to be someone, we've only had a couple decades of blogs.

Well, it's not that surprising that it's him. He's a genius and his family background is super 'interesting'. Might just be me, but I get a strong feeling that his parents were more than just foreign service officers, and that's not to mention his hardline commie grandparents etc.

Why would they do that? The entire point of Leftism (Liberalism and Marxism, they're the same thing with different aesthetics) is to centralize political and economic power in the hands of oligarchs. The actually democratic nature of the internet is comically problematic for that end goal.

Disagree, that's how liberalism tends to go, the hard left as it actually existed is unironically an attempt to return to feudalism without doing away with technology. this is why it's most popular with the literati (who would basically be the Red Nobility) and the dregs (who know they'd be better off as a serf).

Both Marxism and Liberalism have the same end goal, a perfect state of unimpeded economic activity; limitless consumption, limitless production, instant communication of human wants and needs. "Communism" as we refer to it is merely an intermediary state necessary to get to "True Communism", which is this utopian end.

The problem with both is that reality kicks in, and people end up using their market power to engage in non-market ends. Jeff Bezos can make the price of milk fall, you can't. Inevitably, this results in oligarchy, which inevitably results in monopoly and monopsony.

>> No.15098698

>>15098676
That's not true of Marxism, because a core part of actually-existent Marxism is to have a Party-planned non-market economy, which is far from unimpeded. It's literally closer to a feudal/slave mode of production, the Party plans production, collects the product and distributes it.
