Why is he namedropping all these authors? I'm also tired of all the information about different avenues, streets and highways that is also in some of his other novels.

His modern edgy writing style is actually incredinly easy to digest. I never felt bored, but I sometimes felt irritated. Especially when the main character contemplated murder or this strange farmer uprising. Those passages felt out of place and too fantastical while the rest of the novel was fairly believable. The ending is too pathetic and fatalistic for my taste as well. I wish I inherited a shitload of money and had an easy high paying job, stop whining. The main character was still relatable most of the time. But this definetly didnt feel like "high literature", was fun nevertheless
